Hotel Bily Konicek (White Horse) is one of the oldest and most pretty houses on Masaryk's square in beautiful South Bohemian town Trebon. Renaissance building is popular for its typical exterior architecture, especially walls and fortification elements, with many key loopholes. It was originally built as a hunting lodge for Rosenbergs, around 1544. The first signs that the building was used as a "pub", are preserved in the codex from 1750.
Bily konicek hotel had the right to brew beer and between 1850 and 1930 served as accommodation destination for horse teams, and later for the first automobiles. Famous czech writer Jan Werich invented his nix character "Cochtan" at the hotel's restaurant.
